Radio 100
First (West) Berlin private radio station, founded in 1987 with a "left alternative" orientation. Provided a speaking platform for the representatives of the citizens movement of the GDR as far back as 1987. The broadcast Radio Glasnost went on air on a monthly basis. Radio 100 broke apart in 1991 by the conflict of "affected" and "professional" journalism and went bankrupt after 4 years of self-exploitation of the editors.
